let's clear things up
Got questions? We’ve got answers. From what to expect in a session to how coaching is different from therapy, our FAQ section covers the most common questions—so you can feel confident and informed before getting started.

Starting therapy can feel a bit like stepping into the unknown, but here’s what you can expect: Therapy is a safe, welcoming space just for you—somewhere you can talk openly about whatever’s on your mind, without fear of judgment. In your first session, your therapist will get to know you and what you’d like to work on. Over time, you’ll explore your feelings, experiences, and goals together—sometimes with laughter, sometimes with a few tears, and always with support. Think of your therapist as a friendly guide, helping you navigate life’s challenges and celebrate your progress.

We currently do not accept insurance but you can pay using your health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA). We can also supply clients with a superbill to submit to their insurance for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company for details.
Some insurers reimburse for evaluation services, but others may require a ‘prior authorization.’ Additionally, evaluations that we consider to be clinically relevant may not be considered medically necessary, and insurance will not cover these assessments.
